@FediTips, I’m having a lot of trouble with the mastodon iPhone app where all of a sudden while reading a toot the screen jerks and I’m pushed to 5 or 10 posts down. I have to scroll back up to continue reading what I was before being interrupted. Then it happens again. I’m suspecting this is possibly because some of the posts with links render a preview and causes all posts under it to realign vertically. Is this a known issue? Any recommendations? #askfedi #Mastodon

For recommendations, I'd strongly suggest trying third party apps if you haven't already. On iPhone that might include Ice Cubes, Ivory or Mona for example?
@FediTips thank you, whoever runs this account is amazing!!! I think it could be it. Though I’ve started having this issue a lot more frequently for the last couple of months.
@OliviaVespera @FediTips makes the app very hard to use and hurts my eyes each time it does that. Wonder if there’s a solution like using a different client?
This seems to be a bug on the official app so switching to another app should solve it.
I would strongly recommend using a third party app anyway, most people who try them prefer them.
@FediTips @yazad3 @OliviaVespera Tusky isn't perfect, but it is an improvement over the Mastodon app, at least on Android.
